GLOBAL GRAIN INTERNATIONAL S.R.L., Part of Trans-Oil Group, Invests in Renewable Energy with a Photovoltaic Plant in Țăndărei

As part of its sustainability and energy efficiency strategy, GLOBAL GRAIN INTERNATIONAL S.R.L., a member of the Trans-Oil Group, has launched a major renewable energy project: the construction of a photovoltaic power plant in Țăndărei, Ialomița County.
The facility will feature an installed capacity of 1.94992 MWp and will be equipped with advanced battery storage systems, ensuring efficient energy use fully integrated into the company’s operations.
This investment is financed by European Union resources through the Modernization Fund – Transition to Climate Neutrality, under the Strategic Plan 2023–2027, as part of the support scheme for new renewable electricity generation capacities dedicated to self-consumption in the agricultural and food industry sectors.
