Trans-Oil Group announces that all three of its crushing plants in Moldova – IM Trans-Oil Refinery SRL, Floarea Soarelui SA, and Danube Oil Company SRL – have successfully obtained ISO 14001 (Environmental Management Systems) and ISO 45001 (Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems) certification.
The certifications were awarded following independent audits conducted by SGS company, a globally recognized leader in testing, inspection, and certification services. The successful completion of these audits confirms that the Group’s Moldovan operations meet internationally recognized standards for environmental management, workplace health and safety, regulatory compliance, risk mitigation, and continuous improvement.
These certifications complement the ISO 9001 (Quality Management) and ISO 22000 (Food Safety Management) standards obtained in 2023, further strengthening the Group’s integrated management systems framework across its industrial platform.
The certification process required comprehensive environmental and occupational risk assessments, formalized management procedures, internal audits, corrective action programs, and extensive employee engagement at all operational levels.
“This achievement reflects the discipline and professionalism of our teams across all facilities,” said Vaja Jhashi, CEO and Founder of Trans-Oil Group. “ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 certification demonstrates our commitment to operating responsibly, protecting the environment, and ensuring safe and healthy working conditions for our employees.”
The milestone represents an important step in advancing the Group’s Corporate Sustainability Development strategy and reinforces its commitment to international best practices in environmental and social performance.
