27.03.2026

Aragvi Holding International Ltd (Trans-Oil Group or the Company) announces its participation in the United Nations Global Compact, the world’s largest corporate sustainability initiative. Through this decision, the Company reaffirms its commitment to aligning its operations and business strategy with the Ten Principles of the UN Global Compact, covering human rights, labour, environment, and anti-corruption.

The UN Global Compact brings together more than 20,000 companies and organisations across 160 countries around a shared framework for promoting responsible business practices and sustainable development. For Trans-Oil Group, this participation marks a further step in strengthening a business model based on responsibility, transparency, and long-term value creation across all the markets in which the Company operates.

“Becoming a participant in the UN Global Compact marks an important step in our sustainability journey. It reflects our dedication to responsible business practices and in advancing sustainable development across the agri-supply chain in Republic of Moldova, Romania, Serbia, Ukraine, and the wider region,” said Vaja Jhashi, CEO and Founder of Trans-Oil Group.

As part of this commitment, Trans-Oil Group will integrate sustainability principles into its day-to-day operations and long-term strategy, report annually on progress in implementing the Ten Principles, and participate in learning, dialogue, and collaborative initiatives aimed at supporting continuous improvement and the exchange of best practices. The Company will also continue to work with global and regional partners to support innovation and resilience in agriculture and supply chains.

Trans-Oil Group views this participation as both a responsibility and an opportunity to contribute to the achievement of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, while further strengthening its role as a trusted partner in building a more sustainable future.

“Our participation in the UN Global Compact reflects our belief that sustainable development is only possible through transparency, accountability, and collaboration. We are determined to create long-term value for communities, partners, stakeholders, and the environment,” added Vaja Jhashi.

Through this participation, Trans-Oil Group further reinforces its commitment to responsible growth and to international initiatives that support a more sustainable future for the agri-business sector.
